−170 DR in conflicts
- The Eye Tyrant Wars break out, as the beholders of the Alimir Hive war against Calimshan. Tethyr and Iltkazar ally with Calimshan against the beholders.[1][2][3][4] The beholders take Almraiven, then Suldolphor, then finally control the Spider Swamp and the southern Forest of Mir. This largely blocks forces from western Calimshan from moving anywhere but directly into beholder-controlled bases.[3][4]
