• Seven of Netheril's extant Nether Scrolls are returned by unnamed thief to ancient ruins of the creator races: three to the Hall of Mists beneath the High Forest, two to the Crypt of Hssthak in the western Anauroch, and the whereabouts of the remaining two are unknown.
• The mining village of Bandor is established on the eastern edge of the Barren Mountains. The rich gold and silver mines greatly enrich Netheril and expand trade with Ascore.
