- On Midsummer Night, retaliating against Jhaamdathan aggression, elven high mages of Nikerymath conjure a gigantic tsunami to inundate Jhaamdath and wipe out the Twelve Cities of the Sword. The tsunami reshapes the land into the Vilhon Reach.[1][2][3]
- The tsunami also destroys the sea elf city of Coryselmal, resulting in the downfall of the Aryselmalyr Empire. The subject states of Aryselmalyr are freed and fight for control of Serôs. This triggers the Sixth Serôs War.[2]

- The Anauroch makes the lands around the Netherese town of Sepulcher worthless for fishing or logging.[4]
