- In T'u Lung, Emperor Shin Rokan attempts to take control of the armies away from the barons, raises taxes to fund them, and demands an oath of loyalty to the Lui Dynasty from everyone. For this, he is soon assassinated by Wai Long Hwa, in turn naming himself emperor. The Ho, Tan, and Yang clans secede, marking the commencement of the "Three Kingdoms" period.[1]
- From this point, Shou Lung makes fewer incursions into T'u Lung during its "Three Kingdoms" period, instead making separate diplomatic overtures to each kingdom in an effort to weaken and reabsorb them into the Shou empire.[1]
