- Orjalun retires from his position as High Mage, ruler of Silverymoon, and names his apprentice, Sepur, as his successor.[2][3]
- Totep accessed the throne of Nexal, inheriting the title of the Revered Counsellor from his father – Chimal.[4]

- Following his retirement, Orjalun vanishes mysteriously whilst crossing over the Silverymoon Bridge.[2]
Miscellaneous
- Elf maidens on a pleasure outing disappear and are never seen again. The event is memorialized in the epic poem "The Long Watch".[5]
