- Prince Thaum of Impiltur orchestrates the assassinations of King Lashilmbrar, Queen Thelmara, and Crown Prince Imphras III. Thaum is the only child of Prince Kuskur, who is eldest son of Imphras II. Kuskur is named regent, ruling on behalf of King Rilimbrar until he can assume the throne.[1]

- Nearly forty ships commanded by the pirate Thevren raid the Sembian port cities of Selgaunt and Saerloon.[2]
- Human adventurers from Waterdeep kill Throgh, son of the half-orc bandit lord Thaurog. However, wyverns then attack the adventuring band and seize Thaurog's Keep as their lair.[1]
