- In a night of violence, murder, and arson, the Shadowmasters of Telflamm force Evgruth and his pirate fleet from the city.[1]
- A portal to an icy plane (either Cania or the Para-Elemental Plane of Ice) opens north of Damara, near the Great Glacier. A gelugon named Vreesar comes through and conquers a tribe of gnolls but is soon slain by the Harper Martine, who closes the portal.[2]

- Eleint: Rachel Arren retires from adventuring and returns to Waterdeep with her companion Arkiem Allen. Soon after arriving to the city, they get married.[4]
- The sage Ravildus of Telflamm publishes the treatise "Battles Glorious", an excerpt of which describes the Battle of the Lake of Tears of 1360 DR.[5]
- Dmitra Flass, "First Princess" of Thay, journeys to Mulmaster to be with High Blade Selfaril Uoumdolphin.[1]
- In Maztica, explorers from New Waterdeep and twelve Helmite missionary priests travel inland and return three months later with converts and maps.[1]
- Zaranda Star and her companions are arrested in Zazesspur by Baron Faneuil Hardisty but escape soon after.[6]

- In Maztica, Cordell and the Council of Six of Amn warn New Waterdeep not to trade weapons with the Kultakans. The Amnians wish to slow trade between the new settlers and their military allies. Cordell orders a regiment of the Golden Legion north to monitor New Waterdeep, backing up his warning.[1]
- The Flaming Fists established at Fort Flame in Maztica receive reinforcement for the first time in two years. Fort Flame grows to about three hundred people. Among them are elves who seek to forge peace with the local wild elves.[1]
- Zaranda Star purchases County Morninggold in Tethyr from the Order of the Silver Chalice.[7]
- High Queen Alicia Kendrick weds her former tutor, Keane. Though this technically makes him High King of the Moonshae Isles,[3] he is referred to as the High Queen's consort.[8]
- Prince Brandon Olafsson is named king of Gnarhelm.[3]
1366 DR in environment
- The fyreflies in the rimwood area of the forest of Cormanthor ignite a large area of the pines south of Shadowdale, destroying the habitat of the local needle wrens and causing fears that a plague of locusts will affect the farmland.[9]

- The old bardic College of Ollamh in Waterdeep is rebuilt and named New Olamn.[1][12]
