- The Srinshee returns to Myth Drannor and offers Ilsevele Miritar the Rulers' Blade. Ilsevele humbly accepts it and takes the title of coronal.[1]
- With the aid of Bregan D'aerthe, the High Captains re-take Luskan but end up killing each other over the next decade.
1377 DR in deities
- Kiaransalee joins the divine game of sava as a neutral player and orders her followers to alter faerzress radiation to more greatly affect the ability of drow to teleport and use divinations. Eilistraee counters by sending her worshipers to assault the Acropolis of Thanatos, killing all of Kiaransalee's crones. Q'arlynd Melarn uses kiira to allow himself and his apprentices to cast a High Magic spell that erases Kiaransalee's name from the Realms, effectively killing the lesser goddess.[2]
1377 DR in environment
- A minor earthquake off the coast of Amn disrupts Spellhold on the island of Brynnlaw. Several of the deviant magic-users inside manage to escape, vowing vengeance on the nation that imprisoned them.[3]
Deaths in 1377 DR
- High Captains Rethnor and Suljack both die. While Rethnor dies peacefully in his sleep, Suljack is murdered by the dwarf Athrogate.[4]
- Captain Deudermont is killed by High Captain Kensidan of Luskan.[4]

- Queen Amlaruil Moonflower arrives in Myth Drannor to congratulate Ilsevele Miritar. She brings with her a gift, the Tree of Souls which is planted in the Seldarrshen Nieryll (Starsoul Shrine).[1]
- This year is known as the Year of the Black Banner in the Black Chronology.[5][6]
- Thult Oldstone, the leader of a dwarvish war band of outcasts called the Oldstones, better known as Arden Glimrock, disappears, his fate remains unknown, leading to the war band's eventual demise of disbandment.[7][8]
