- A meeting of resistance members against Szass Tam's takeover of Thay is attacked by a group of skeletons and an ulgurstasta under the control of one of the lich's minions. - The Arnrock volcano in the Lake of Steam erupts violently, wiping out the halfling settlement that had sprung up on its long dormant crater.[4]
- The land of Luiren is flooded and destroyed by rising seas, transforming it into the Gulf of Luiren.[5][note 1]

Notes
- ↑ Canon sources do not provide a specific year for the creation of the Gulf of Luiren, and state only that it was created during the Spellplague (1385 DR–1395 DR). However, Brian R. James clarified in a Tweet that the event occurred in 1386 DR.
