- The Netherese enclave of Sakkors reappears above Daerlun in the night. In the morning, there is civil unrest across the city and King Azoun V of Cormyr dispatches elite swordmages to establish order.[1]
1395 DR in environment
- A great plague known variously as the Putrescent Anathema or the Plaguebringer's Blight brings devastation to Goldenfields and Waterdeep, primarily to the poor as the supply of grain plummets.[2]
1395 DR in magic
- Most of the effects of the Spellplague end during this year,[1] with only a few places, known as plaguelands, still afflicted by the wild magic brought by the cataclysm.[3] Most arcane magic returns to a semblance of normality, with a handful of major changes to the way spells are cast.[1]
- Nogah finds the Dreamheart in a drowned illithid city deep under the Sea of Fallen Stars.[4]
