649 DR in conflicts

Migrations in 649 DR

  • Dwarven refugees of Roldilar retreat, going east, south over the seas, and to hidden, isolated communities still surviving in the Vast.[1][2] Several clans flee into the Earthspur Mountains.[7] Others, particularly craftsfolk and noncombatants migrate to Myth Drannor in Cormanthyr.[6][7]
  • The dwarves leave the Vast to the humans, who stay to fight the orcs while more keep arriving. Thus the Vast passes entirely into human hands.[1][2][7]
