Migrations in 889 DR
- The Tethyrian Bull Elk tribe attacks and sets Nimoar's Hold (later Waterdeep) ablaze, but ultimately they are driven off by the inhabitants. The settlement is rebuilt in less than a year, before the first snow of winter.[1][2]
889 DR in organizations
- Duke Tithkar Illehhune joins the Knights of the Shield and convinces his fellows that his Shield of the Hidden Lord is a sign to return the organization to its former power. The even more secretive Shield Council is formed, which comes under the direct influence of Gargauth, who speaks through the Shield of the Hidden Lord.[3]
