- Ythazz Buvaar leads the Red Wizards in rebellion against the rule of Mulhorand. They sack and destroy Delhumide, the provincial capital.[1][2] At the Battle of Thazalhar, a conjurer named Jorgmacdon summons the demon lord Eltab to the Red Wizards' aid, and the Mulhorandi army is routed.[1]
- Half-drow Crinti from Dambrath raid Ammathlauir. After three days of battle, the hin and their marchwarden leaders, force back the raiders.[1]
- Honda Mototsune battles Kozakuran invaders from Wa.[3]
Deaths in 922 DR
- Soneillon, Queen of Whispers, infects the Elethlim royal family of Impiltur with the Tortoiscab Plague. Only Princess Aliia survives.[4]
922 DR in politics
- The Battle of Thazalhar confirms the independence of Thay from Mulhorand. This marks the end of the Second Mulhorand Empire.[1][5][6]
- The city of Kensten gains independence from Mulhorand and is led by a mercantile council. Worship of Kossuth blossoms in the city after a millennium of Mulhorandi repression.[7]
