Adapt body,[1] also known as body control, was a psionic devotion[4][5] of the psychometabolism discipline that allowed the psionicist to adapt their body to hostile environments.[1][4][5]

Effects[]

The psionicist could use this devotion to not only survive, but interact as a native life form for any environment that was hostile to their inherent form, allowing them to move unhindered within the environment without being physically harmed. Magical attacks that mimicked the harsh effects of some environments would still harm the psionicist as normal. An example would be a psionicist being harmed by a cone of cold even though they were using body control to ignore the frigid temperature of a glacier.[4][5]

Display[]

When this power was used it manifested a visual display.[1]

Users[]

This power was knowable by psions,[1][4][5] psychic warriors,[1] sangehirns,[3] and wilders,[1] as well as ardents and divine minds of the Elements mantle.[2]

Body control was exhibited as an innate psionic ability by some sulls.[7]
