Ahs Trango Shan, or the South Guardian Peak, was a mountain located in Khazari.
The South Guardian Peak formed part of the natural border of eastern Khazari, along with the Nas Trango Shan, providing a rocky barrier against Kara-Tur and the outside world.
At 15,641 ft. (4,767 m), the South Guardian Peak was the smaller of two peaks located in eastern Khazari. The Broken Wall Pass ran between the two peaks.
Strong fortifications, in the form of fort Luntse Dzong, were present to ensure the protection of the valuable Silk Road that passed through the mountains.
Bandits, led by Brusha around 1359 DR, and dangerous creatures inhabited the valleys surrounding the base of the mountains.
