Alarashan Tlor was a magelord of Athalantar during the first half of the 3rd century DR.[1]

Personality[]

A careful man with notable self-control, he constantly planned on how to seize power upon the fall of his comrades.[1] He was quick to imitate the habits of others.[2]

Abilities[]

He was an extremely powerful wizard.[1]

Activities[]

As a magelord, his efforts were mostly focused on keeping track of the comings and goings of merchants and adventurers in Athalantar.[1]

Relationships[]

He was a member of the magelords of Athalantar until his death.[1] One of his apprentices was Ortran, who was forced upon him by Undarl.[3]

History[]

Alarashan had been a Magelord since at least some point between the Year of Much Ale, 233 DR and the Year of Bloodflowers, 234 DR.[2]

During the siege of Hastarl by the forces under prince Elminster Aumar in Year of the Chosen, 240 DR, Alarashan retrieved Nanatha, an apprentice magelord, from the tower of fellow magelord Malanthor Drymm, who had been recently slain. Later during the siege, he heard the death scream of Ortran, a fellow apprentice, who was ambushed by swordsmen infiltrating the palace; Alarashan in turn was disabled by those same men.[3]

He was later summoned to Ithboltar's tower, which collapsed, killing him.[1]
