Aldolphus the Stout (pronounced: /ɑːlˈdoʊlfʌs/ al-DOL-fuss[2]) was a sage in Arabel in Cormyr in 1357 DR.[1]

Aldolphus loved astronomical studies but his primary field was the physical sciences: the identification and usage of minerals, woods, and plants.[1]
Aldolphus fled Arabel during the Time of Troubles and settled in Urmlaspyr in Sembia.[3]

Aldolphus was a stout, joyous man who didn't have the pomposity same of his fellow sages.[1]
Relationship[]
Aldolphus was a good friend of King Azoun Obarskyr IV, who always visited the sage when traveling in Arabel. Aldolphus was particularly fond of the meals they shared together.[1]
