Amanther was an Avowed of Candlekeep in the late mid-14th century DR.
Description[]
In a group comprised of him, Larth and three others, he was the oldest and tallest.[2]
Abilities[]
He was trained in the ability to perceive the nature of a spell before it was cast, through observing the verbal, somatic, and material components required of it.[1] He also was somehow able to see through spell-guises without anyone noticing.[2]
History[]
Amanther was one of the monks who welcomed Roablar of Lantan, actually Noumea Cardellith, into Candlekeep at some point after the early spring of 1373 DR. He was able to see through her spell-guise immediately, though he admitted it was a good one.[2]
