Angelica was a plant harvested in Faerûn that was used for food, medicine, and certain magical purposes.[1]

Aurora's Emporium sold angelica seasoning for 5 cp per 1 ounce (28 grams), and candied angelica for 1 gp per 1 ounce (28 grams).[1]
Usage[]
- Angelica was believed to be useful for treating illnesses in the lungs, spleen, liver, eyes, and ears.[2] A relatively simple medicinal cure for respiratory diseases was made from angelica, acacia, knotweed, and coriander.[3]
- The floral crown of an angelica plant could be used for the special ink for recording the message spell.[4][5]
- Certain divination spells could be aided by a preparation of angelica.[6]
- Dried angelica flowers could serve as a mild insect repellent.[7]
