Animal summoning I was a conjuration spell.
Effects[]
When cast, the spell allowed the caster three chances to name a type of animal that might be found in the vicinity and summon up to eight of them to aid the caster.[1][2][4]
Components[]
In addition to verbal and somatic components, the spell required a material component.[4]
