An ankylosaurus (pronounced: /æŋkiloʊˈsɑːrʌs/ ænk-ee-lo-SAR-us[9] listen), sometimes called a macetail behemoth[3] or a rock-skin—by the inhabitants of the Malatran Plateau[1]—was a type of dinosaur.[2]
Description[]
Ankylosaurs were quadruped herbivores. Their bodies were covered in a thick plate armor.[2]
Combat[]
If threatened, ankylosaurs used their knobbed tails to defend themselves against predators. Some varieties had spiked tails instead.[2]

Beyond the Prime Material plane, some could be found in the Forbidden Plateau.[10]
