Anteos (pronounced: /ˈɑːntisAN-tee-oh-s[2]) was a noble family within the city of Waterdeep during the 14th century DR. They were prominent traders and money changers throughout the region, but had in the past had earned their fortune through slavery.[3]

Base of Operations[edit | edit source]

The family had an estate in the North Ward of the city between Anteos Lane and Trollkill Street.[4][5]

House Anteos was ennobled in the Year of the Cockatrice, 1248 DR when the Lords of Waterdeep recognized several merchant houses within the city's nobility.[11]
