Aravele was a mercenary that lived in Phlan during the late 15th century DR.[1]

She was known to be freinds with a fellow mercenary named Keria and Grim, a guardsman and member of the Black Fist.[1]
History[]
During the 1480s DR,[note 1] various problems began to arise in Phlan, and the beacon over Sokol Keep went out.[2] Both the city's Black Fist guardsman and the local dockworkers blamed each other for the emergent problem. Some members of the Black Fist, including Keria's friend Grim went missing.[1]
One night when having drinks at the Laughing Goblin Inn, Aravele and Keria got into a heated argument with a group of Phlan's dockworkers.[1]

- ↑ Canon material does not provide a year for the Tyranny of Dragons storyline, but in a forum post, Greg Marks stated it was set in 1489 DR. However, the events of the Tyranny of Dragons are discussed in the novel Archmage, which is set in 1485/1486 DR and has events that necessarily put it after The Rise of Tiamat. Since this inconsistency has not been cleared up, this wiki will use the vague term "1480s DR" for events related to this storyline, though it is most likely no latter than 1486 DR.
