This set of leathers drank the blood spilled on the battlefield, healing and rejuvenating the wearer. The armor of thorns made an unsettling slurping sound when absorbing enemy blood. Additionally, the armor possessed a +2 defensive enchantment and allowed the wearer to cast the vampiric touch once per day.[2]
History[]
As of the late 14th century DR, rumors claimed that the armor of thorns hid some sinister entity within as many individuals who wore it fell ill after a single use. In the Year of Rogue Dragons, 1373 DR, the armor of thorns could be found underneath the Crossroad Keep, stashed in a tunnel.[1]
