Arsenic was a toxic elemental material found in the Realms.[1]

  • Arsenic could be found naturally occurring in certain plants.[2][3]
  • Chain devil dung resembled a kind of soft, crumbly slag that contained large amounts of arsenic and sulfur.[4]
  • Arsenic was found in volcanic areas such as the Lake of Steam.[5]

Usages[]

  • Arsenic was used as an ingested poison that weakened and then killed the target.[1][6][7][8] It was especially popular and prevalent in Zakhara.[9]
  • The vile lichnee potion that transformed someone into a lich used three drops of pure arsenic, as well as the heart of a humanoid killed by a combination of arsenic and belladonna.[10]
