Dawnmaster Askell Stockhold was one of four devoted leaders of the Rosymorn Monastery in the Western Heartlands, who died before the late 15th century DR and the monastery's fall to the githyanki invaders.[1]

Description[]

Dawnmaster Stockhold's stained glass depiction showed a tiefling with dark red skin, a pious look, and Lathanderian garb. The depiction was shown holding a holy symbol of Lathander with his raised right hand.[1]

History[]

Dawnmaster Stockhold was one of four high-ranking members of the clergy who served at Rosymorn Monastery sometime before the Year of Three Ships Sailing, 1492 DR. The other three were Seed, Welkinglory, and Vaseid. All four were depicted on a circular stained glass mosaic in an upper central chamber of the monastery. Around the mosaic were four pedestals, upon which laid each of their ceremonial weapons: masterfully crafted enchanted +1 items that were among those great works that attracted pilgrims from across Faerûn, Lathanderian and members of other faiths alike.[1]

Dawnmaster Stockhold's grave could be found on a precipice near the southeast corner of Rosymorn Monastery. A ceremonial mace was buried with him.[1]
