Astar's half plate was the simply-named enchanted half plate worn by Astar Graysteel in the mid-to-late-14th century DR, until his death in 1373 DR.[1]

Astar's half plate was an exemplar of masterful crafting and immaculate condition. It possessed a +2 enchantment that guarded the wearer against the strongest blows.
History[]
Astar Graysteel was once one of the Blades of Mulmaster in the mid-14th century DR. His life was filled with dangers and double-crossings in service of Selfaril Uoumdolphin. After betraying his masters, Astar Graysteel was forced to flee Mulmaster. He kept his enchanted armor and wore it during his years of mercenary work away from home. He wore the half plate until his death at the tentacles of a malaugrym masquerading as his comrade in the 1373 DR.[1]
