An augmenting whetstone was a type of enchanted whetstone that would temporarily bestow enchantments.[1]
Powers[]
This variety of enchanted whetstone generally granted weapons that touched it a temporary +2 enchantment, though more expensive variations offered higher enchantments. With the most expensive augmenting whetstone giving a +6 enchantment.[1]
History[]
In 1479 DR,[note 1] a group of adventurers were potentially rewarded one of these by the Solemn Order of Recognized Furriers and Woolmen's for clearing undead from the guild's tomb within the City of the Dead.[2]
