History[]
Centuries prior to the 14th century DR, Azazabus built himself a home under Mount Dread, attracting many kinds of monsters to work with and serve him. For years, the monsters raided the surface, while he worked underground on secret experiments. Then, at some point, he simply disappeared, leaving the place to the monsters.[1]
