Development[]
Gameplay[]
The gameplay is very similar to that of the original Dark Alliance.
The new characters are:
- Allessia Faithhammer, a human cleric
- Artemis Entreri, a human assassin
- Borador Goldhand, a dwarf rogue
- Dorn Redbear, a human barbarian
- Drizzt Do'Urden, a drow ranger
- Vhaidra Uoswiir, a drow monk
- Ysuran Auondril, an elven necromancer
Drizzt Do'Urden and his nemesis, Artemis Entreri, both make appearances as playable characters if you beat the game once on normal, and then again on "extreme" mode.
Unlike in the original Dark Alliance game, players can create their own magical weapons, armor, and trinkets (for a price) in Dark Alliance II.
Plot[]
The story begins when the previous three heroes, Vahn, Adrianna, and Kromlech, are taken prisoner by an evil vampire king, Mordoc SeLanmere. In part two, the player is one of the many adventurers seeking fame and fortune in Baldur's Gate.
