The Battle of Rocnest was the first major battle in the siege of Evereska by the phaerimm in the Year of the Unstrung Harp, 1371 DR. Despite assistance by Khelben Arunsun and a contingent of Waterdhavian and elf soldiers, Aubric Nihmedu, the Blade-Major of Evereska, died during the battle and Rocnest was captured by the phaerimm.[1]
