Beregost lies halfway on the Coast Way between Baldur's Gate and Amn. In 1368 DR while Beregost offical government is a five-person town council,[1] in reality, the town is run the governor,[1] Kelddath Ormlyr, who is also the high priest of Song of the Morning a major temple to Lathander.[1] By 1372 DR, Beregost is recorded as having no "official government" and "being run by the high priest of the major temple to Lathander". [2] The town receives many visiting merchant caravans and, in 1368 DR, has one tavern and three inns.[3]
History
Beregost was founded around a school of magic run by the wizard Ulcaster[2], but about three hundred years before 1372 DR[2], Calishite wizards burned down the scholl of magic.[2] In 1372 DR the ruins of the school lie to the east of the town.[2] guarded by the priests of Lathander.[2]

Beregust in 1368 DR
The Town of Beregust has alot of valubuls for any [[thief[[ of skill and most of them are keept in cheast locked away in homes. and they alsow have a very well suplied Blacksmith that can make almost any armor that a warrior or theif migth whant, and weapons of greate power and price. The Main Blacksmith goes by the name of Taerom Fuiruim know as a greate blacksmith who can in a tenday make a Ankheg Shell Amor out of the shell from a Ankheg for only a Ankheg shell and 4000gp! Other then the turific in there are 4 inns that goes by the names of: Juvial Juggler, Burning Wizard, Feldpost Inn and Red Sheaf. All these inn's are a good play to rest wile Juvial Juggler had a angry dwarf owner and the Burning Wizard had a Halfling Thief who will pick Pocket any one for Gold. The Feldpost Inn keeps some Items that are magical in nature and will vend them to any one who will buy them... for a price.
There are alsow a Mercenery vendor that has lost alot of "merc's" becorse of the bandit raids and wants to find where the last cart went. The Dwarf owner is of a Evil Alignment, his name is: Kagain.
Out side of the town there is a magi housing that keeps a powerfull magi that will vend of Scrolls and other magic items to the wellbehaved and rich. on the other the side of town there is Temple of good that will pay for most Holy symbols that a Adventurer migth find, and the leader will alsow pay for any found Wyvern head.
