Bertrand Carrathal was High King of Callidyrr in the latter half of the 11th century DR.[1] Like his predecessors, although he held the title of High King of the Moonshae Isles, he was considered to be merely a figurehead by the Ffolk outside of Callidyrr.[1][2]

He was a member of the Carrathal Dynasty via his marriage to Yolanda Carrathal. The pair had multiple children, and Bertrand's eventual successor was their third son, Edwin.[1]
History[]
Bertram ruled in Callidyrr first as king at the side of his wife, who became monarch in the Year of the Frozen Kingdoms, 1052 DR, and then as High King following her death in the Year of Three Faces, 1089 DR.[1]
His solo reign lasted for six years before he died of natural causes in the Year of the Dawndance, 1095 DR.[1]
