Black Well Court was a small courtyard that was located in the city of Waterdeep.[1][2][3][4]

Black Well Court was located in Waterdeep's Dock Ward. The court sat between Book Street and Snail Street, with the main entance branching west off of Book Street. A well sat in the center of the court.[1][2][3][4]
History[]
The well found in the center of Black Well Court was polluted with black water, thus giving the court its name. It was also infested with a variety of monsters. It was sealed by order of the Lords of Waterdeep.[6][5] The court served as a meeting place for various street gangs and cultists and was heavily patrolled by the City Watch.[5]
