Blackguard's gauntlets were a pair of enchanted medium armor ornate-plated gauntlets that were once worn by a blackguard and later by a death knight they became.[1]
Powers[]
Blackguard's gauntlets allowed the wearer to cast an empowered version of the inflict wounds spell once per day. Additionally, the gauntlets increased the wearer's physical strength and magically guided their hands and weapons towards the targets, similarly to that of +1 offensive enchantments.[1]
History[]
In the Year of Three Ships Sailing, 1492 DR, blackguard's gauntlets were worn by the guardian death knight called That Which Watches, who, along with That Which Guards and That Which Lurks, guarded the entrance to the chamber of the Bhaalist Murder Tribunal in the Undercellar of Baldur's Gate.[1]
