Blacklung fever was a potentially fatal disease and one of the Five Fevers of Faerûn.[1][3]
Acquisition[]
The disease was transmissible through the air. It took a day for symptoms to manifest.[1]
Effects[]
Sufferers of blacklung fever suffered a steady loss of their stamina and endurance. While a healthy individual could fight off the disease in a matter of days,[1][4] the disease could ultimately be fatal.[1][2]
History[]
Deldagg Huldgrym, the founder of the Bloodaxe Mercenary Company, died of blacklung fever in the Year of the Leaping Dolphin, 1331 DR.[2][5]
