The Blatant Beast was a strange monster that roamed throughout the Kingdom of Mertwig in search of stories and rhymes. Anyone that managed to tell the creature a tale that was to its liking would be gifted treasure, whilst though whose stories failed to impress would be attacked.[1]
Description[]
The Blatant Beast was a bipedal creature with stubby arms, a tail, and green skin.[2][note 1]
History[]
When King Mertwig was on the verge of death at age 65, various fortune hunters and individuals claiming to be his long-lost heirs scoured his kingdom in search of wealth and treasure.[3] During their journey to claim the throne, the would-be heirs of King Mertwig encountered the Blatant Beast.[1]
