Bliauts were a form of overgarment dress found in the Realms,[1] worn by both men and women.[2]
Description[]
Bliauts were finely-pleated and often had embroidery on their hem, neck, and sleeves. They were typically worn over some form of plain gown or tunic.[1]
History[]
In the 14th century DR, the bliaut was a common garment among women in the cities of Waterdeep[1] and Westgate.[2]
