Bloodspiller and its more powerful variant, exalted Bloodspiller, were a variety of artifact created to be used by barbarian adventurers in the Chultan city of Port Nyanzaru in the late 15th century DR.[1]
Description[]
These Bloodspillers were testaments of their owners' strength and the skills of the master weaponcrafters of Chult. Those heroes who survived the deadly dangers of the jungles were honored with these greatswords. These weapons could be created to be used with Bloodcatcher that were often attached to Bloodspillers.[1]
Powers[]
A Bloodspiller could be enchanted to house various additional magics for each owner, in addition to boosting the owner's combat damage output and healing provided to their allies. When a Bloodspiller was wielded with a Bloodcatcher, both items boosted eachother's magical powers, increasing the wielder's damage and healing capabilities greatly, and, with each enemy life taken, the magical powers of both items replenished.[1]
History[]
Bloodspillers were created in the late 15th century DR, and their design suggested the items' origins to be tied to the ancient Lost City of Omu.[1]
