Urkitbaeran's Book of Black Tidings talked about the criminal and mundane powers of Calimport circa the Year of the Shattered Skulls, 225 DR.[1] By the 14th century DR, a copy of the tome was kept among the books of the library-fortress of Candlekeep on the Sword Coast.[2]
