This aromatic dish typically consisted of some form of fish, clams, and mussels simmered in a light fish and tomato stock, and served with rouille. Some taverns even included a serving of aldani meat.[2]
People often chose to soak herb breads in this dish.[2]

This dish could be found served in many taverns, homesteads, and seafaring vessels. It could particularly be found throughout the Sword Coast and in port cities such as Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, and Waterdeep.[2]
