Bowl of hares was one of the specialty dishes from the Oak-Father's Boon, the best inn in Mosstone, Tethyr.[1]
Description[]
A typical bowl of hares' main ingredient was, very appropriately, hare. The beast's meat was diced and stewed for half a day in a rich sauce of cloves, cinnamon, and finely chopped leeks. The dish was served in a bowl alongside toasted slices of eggbread.[1]
History[]
Bowl of hares was served at the Boon in the mid-to-late-14th century DR. The dish was mentioned by Volothamp Geddarm's rave review of the inn in one of his published travel guides.[1]
