Brachiosauruses (pronounced: /brɑːtʃioʊˈsɑːrʌs/ bratch-ee-o-SAR-us[4]) were a type of large and incredibly heavy dinosaur, similar to a brontosaurus.[1]
Description[]
Brachiosaurs were considered to be among some of the heaviest dinosaurs to ever live, weighing around 85 to 90 tons (77,000 to 82,000 kilograms).[1][3] Their bodies were around 60 feet (18 meters) in length.[3]
Reputation[]
Though peaceful, due to their immense size brachiosaurs had a tendency to accidentally step on smaller creatures and thus could pose a threat to adventurers.[1]
Ecology[]
Diet[]
Brachiosaurs were a herbivorous species of dinosaur.[1][3]
Habitats[]
These creatures were known to inhabit lakes and swamps in regions with a warm climate.[3]

Notes[]
- ↑ The 2nd edition alignment given in the original source is "Nil", which should be read as Neutral according to this Sage Advice answer by Skip Williams in Dragon Magazine Issue #155: "The nil alignment rating is a holdover from an early draft of the Monstrous Compendium material. Originally, a rating of nil indicated that a creature was not intelligent enough to have an alignment at all. However, the nil rating was dropped during rewriting and should have been replaced with the neutral alignment."
