A buzuq (buh-ZOOQ) was a stringed Zakharan instrument that was similar to the lute.[1]
Description
The buzuq's metallic strings were stretched over a long fretted neck connected to a wider, nearly circular body.[1]
History
The buzuq was one of the favored musical instruments of the wandering tribes of Al-Badia, particularly in the southern regions of the Land of Fate.[1]
