Magistrate Bylanna Ianulin was an official of the Amnian government who presided over the city of Athkatla during the mid–14th century DR.[1][note 1]

While she often offered sympathy to those who could not find justice, she was dedicated to upholding the letter of the law.[1]
Activities[]
As magistrate, she oversaw city-wide investigations and made the decisions as to when individuals or groups would be charged with crimes.[1]
Magistrate Ianulin operated under the Tessarch of the Council of Six.[2] She in turn was served by Chief Inspector Brega and the city's other investigators.[1]
Despite her authority and rank, she was powerless to interfere with the actions of the Cowled Wizards.[1]
