Cacophonic burst was a powerful arcane evocation spell from the 5th circle of magic that dealt sonic damage. The spell could be used by arcane spellcasters: bards, sorcerers, and mages.[1][2]
Effects[]
When the spell was cast, it created a bubble of 20 feet (6.1 meters) in a radius filled with low, discordant noise. It dealt sonic damage to all things within the spell's radius of effect. It could be cast as far as 400 feet (120 meters) away from the caster, and its power and distance increased with the spellcaster's magical prowess. Areas under the effects of a silence spell were unaffected by cacophonic bursts.[1][2]
