Callidyrr Hugh was King of Corwell in the Moonshae Isles in the late 2nd century DR and the founder of the Hugh Dynasty.[1] He was the namesake for the Kingdom of Callidyrr and for its capital, Caer Callidyrr.[3]
Relationships[]
Callidyrr was a son of Ebenfar nobility. His first son, Cymrych Hugh, would go on to become the legendary first High King of the Moonshae Isles.[1]
History[]
Callidyrr claimed the throne of Corwell in the Year of the Troublesome Vixen, 177 DR after unifying the Ffolk kingdoms that had been engaged in civil war since the death of King Deric and the end of the First Dynasty of the Moonshaes in the Year of Unkind Weapons, 171 DR.[1][2]
He ruled for sixteen years before he was slain by trolls in the Year of the Raised Brow, 193 DR.[1] Eight years later, his son would name the land of Callidyrr in his honor.[3]
