The caretaker's crown was a unique enchanted crown crafted by Laeral Silverhand for Halbenet Soladonel in the late 15th century DR. It was one of many pieces of so-called "Silverhand gear" crafted for adventurers who helped to protect Waterdeep.[1]

The Caretaker's Crown allowed Halbenet to protect others by projecting their great gift of calm onto their allies to help maintain everyone's composure in combat. This bestowed an effect similar to that provided by a ring of mind shielding.[1]
