Carthus Cymrych was a High King of the Moonshae Isles in the early-to-mid 8th century DR.[1]

He was a member of the Cymrych Dynasty and the first son of his predecessor, High King Ernest. His successor was his younger brother, Alec II.[1]
History[]
Carthus assumed the throne of the High King in the Year of the Visions, 731 DR, following the death of his father. He then immediately abdicated the throne to his brother, Alec II.[1]
Carthus died of natural causes fourteen years later in the Year of the Proud Menhir, 745 DR, by which time his nephew, Pendar, had become High King following Alec II's death.[1]
