All creatures typically of large size.
Large size was defined differently in different editions of Dungeons & Dragons:
- 1st edition: Anything larger than 7 ft (2.1 m). There was no size category above.[1]
- 2nd edition: Larger than 7 ft (2.1 m) up to 12 ft (3.7 m).[2]
- 3rd/3.5 edition: Between 8 ft (2.4 m) and 16 ft (4.9 m).[3]
- 5th edition: Occupied an area of 10 ft (3 m) by 10 ft (3 m).[4]
